Is your boring lawn or messy garden making everyone miserable? Do you want a gorgeous native garden permaculture paradise that invites joy and healing to your home and family?

We’ve seen firsthand how a gorgeous and thriving garden brings people outside to play with the earth, growing food and medicine, and even hosting a wedding.

Bring joy back to your home and get excited to invite your friends and family over for a garden soirée.

You can have it all while reducing water cost by 70%! Not to mention building healthy soil that sequesters carbon and inviting super cute and diverse worlds of butterflies, bees, hummingbirds, and birds.

I’ll be hosting a live webinar class on the lawn rebate transformation process on Wednesday, June 12, from 6-7pm PST. We will cover the lawn rebate process for LA County (“Turf Replacement Program”), the context of our current water, soil, and climate situation, the ecological design process, soil testing, installation techniques, example projects, and what it’s like to work with us.

The class also comes with:

  • a starter native plant list
  • soil amendment mulch/compost calculator
  • 15% off coupon code for any consulting service purchased on the website
  • 10% off coupon code for any purchase at the Theodore Payne Foundation Store

The recording will be available for viewing afterwards.

I’m opening up the class at a Pay What You Can price so it can be accessible for everyone.

The intention for this class is to provide a comprehensive yet succinct introduction and overview to this process, giving you all of the essential information to be able to do it yourself. I am planning some future classes that will dive more deeply into soil health and testing, the ecological design process, plant choices,

and irrigation systems. These will be announced in the future.

This class is centered around the Los Angeles County and Inland Empire area, so will refer to plants, techniques, and resources relevant to this area. However, many of the principles can be applied elsewhere. The Turf Replacement Program discussed in this class is focused on LA County, as this program varies in San Bernardino County, depending on your city's water district.

Once you checkout and pay for the class, you will receive:

  • PDF downloads with the call information
  • 10% off coupon code at Theodore Payne
  • 15% off coupon code for any SoilWise consulting service purchased on the website
  • native plant starter list and soil amendment calculator

You will receive a reminder email with the call information again a week before the live webinar date. The live webinar is 1 hour with time for Q&A. It will be recorded and available for viewing afterwards. The PDF slides will be sent out afterwards.

You will get the following files:
  • PDF (1MB)
